Powderham House (yellow) have won the overall trophy for most house points over the year. Our Year 6 children received the trophy on behalf of their house team.
This week Class 3 performed their annual assembly to showcase their learning from the year. We decided to base the assembly around the children’s favourite film at the moment- ‘The Greatest Showman’, by creating ‘The Greatest Class 3 Show!’ The children had a super time learning the songs and dances, and we all enjoyed watching…
The children had a fantastic time exploring on the field, becoming insect detectives on the hunt for creatures! Equipped with a check list, we all looked very carefully to find as many insects and minibeasts as possible. We found ladybirds, dragonflies and many more. A fun and sunny afternoon for our little explorers!
The children in Class 3 had a fantastic time on their trip to Dawlish Warren last week. They had a busy day, starting with a super workshop with Steven, a ranger from the Nature Reserve, and ending with some free time on the beach and an ice cream!

We enjoyed World Book Day at Cockwood, with the children and staff dressing up as their favourite character and taking part in some lovely reading based activities. Well done to everyone who made such an effort with costumes.
Children spent the afternoon designing and testing their own rockets in our science competition. It was great fun and the teams gained points for super designs and rockets that flew the furthest.
