Year 2 enjoyed a super afternoon in the sunshine at Forest School this week. After a safety briefing, they enjoyed having time to explore the site and work in a small group to make necklaces with Anglo-Saxon initials on. All the children got to use a range of tools, with adult support, and were delighted with their finished necklace. The afternoon finished off with toasting marshmallows around the camp fire; a lovely afternoon and an excellent learning opportunity.
